Our Team

Jeremy Myerson, Chairman
An academic researcher, author and activist in workplace design and innovation, Jeremy is Professor Emeritus in the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design at the Royal College of Art and is a Visiting Professorial Fellow at the University of Oxford. Jeremy has published several influential books on workplace design and has sat on the international advisory boards of design institutes in South Korea, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Hong Kong. Named by Wired magazine as one of Britain’s 100 most influential people in digital technology, he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by the Royal College of Art in 2016 for his work in design research.
Philip Ross, Founder and CEO
A futurist, author and consultant on the future of work, Philip is Founder and CEO of UnGroup and Cordless Group, comprising Unwired, UnWork.com, Cordless Consultants and Cordless Resourcing. He has worked with organisations such as Ernst & Young, Allen & Overy, GlaxoSmithKline, Cisco, McKinsey, Boston Consulting Group and PWC on future concepts for work and the workplace. Philip has spoken at major conferences around the world and is the co-author (with Jeremy Myerson) of The Creative Office, The 21st Century Office and Space to Work.
Kasia Maynard, Head of Research and Editorial
Kasia is a researcher and writer, holding distinction-level degrees in multimedia journalism from the Press Association and an MA in Urban Design and Planning from the University of Sheffield. Throughout her career she has focused on exploring the evolution of work and the workplace with particular interest in how the future of work will impact the cities we live in. Prior to this, she worked as a research strategist at Gensler Research Institute, delving into global workplace trends and their implications on workplace design innovation. She has recently been recognised in the 2024 Workplace Leaders Top 50 list.
Imogen Privett , Senior Research Associate
Imogen is an architectural designer and researcher, holding upper second- and first-class degrees in history and architecture and an MA in architecture. She has recently concluded a PhD at the Royal College of Art, exploring the effects of coworking on workplace design practice. Prior to this, she worked in architectural practice focusing on workplace design with projects including UK headquarters for Barclays, Macquarie Bank and Reuters before taking up a Research Associate role at The Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design on a three-year research project. This culminated in the publication of a book called Life of Work: What Office Design Can Learn from the World Around Us, co-authored by Professor Jeremy Myerson. She has presented her work internationally, delivered workshops at Clerkenwell Design Week in London, and led the Social Design Lab at the Royal College of Art’s summer school on Workspace Design in partnership with IE University Madrid.
Matthew Myerson, Strategy Director
Mathew is a senior marketing and communications professional in the property industry. He joined WORKTECH Academy from Blackstone Property Management where he led the marketing team at Chiswick Park Enjoy-Work. Prior to working at Chiswick Park, Matthew worked for several leading design agencies in account management and strategy, including Wordsearch, Sectorlight, Small Back Room and Fitch. His clients included The Crown Estate, Stanhope, Grosvenor Estates, Ballymore, Battersea Power Station, Adidas and Red Bull. Matthew has a BA in History of Art from the University of Leeds and CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) qualifications.
Ella King, Writer and Researcher
Ella is a Modern Languages graduate from the University of Birmingham, who also has received education in Paris and Seville. She has experience in marketing and events, having completed a marketing focused internship in Paris. In her spare time, Ella is a keen long-distance runner and avid reader; she is currently signed with a literary agent and working towards publishing her debut novel.
Simona Melville, Editorial and Marketing Coordinator
Simona Melville is a recent graduate from Norwich University of Arts, where she earned a degree in Fashion Communications and Promotions where she has honed her editorial design and writing skills. With experience in hospitality, particularly in event organisation, Simona excels in dynamic environments and enjoys engaging with diverse groups of people. In her spare time, she channels their creativity into writing poetry and photography.
