Kasia Maynard: new head of editorial and research joins Academy
Newly-created senior post is part of a long-term plan to significantly enhance the content-creation capabilities of WORKTECH Academy
WORKTECH Academy is pleased to announce that Kasia Maynard has joined our team in the newly created senior post of Head of Editorial & Research.
Her appointment significantly enhances the Academy’s content-creation capabilities and marks an exciting new step in our development as a multi-media platform for the future of work.
Kasia Maynard joins from the Gensler Research Institute, where she was a Research and Communication Strategist. Prior to working at Gensler, one of the world’s largest architecture firms and a leader in the workplace sector, Kasia spent five years with WORKTECH Academy, first as a Writer/Researcher and then as Content Editor.
Kasia Maynard holds a BA in Archaeology from the University of Southampton, a Postgraduate Diploma in multimedia journalism from the Press Association and an MA in Urban Design and Planning from the University of Sheffield. She comments: ‘I’m delighted to be taking the reins of editorial and research at WORKTECH Academy at a time when the new working landscape is still taking shape and the need for new knowledge and insights is especially important.’
New leadership team
Kasia Maynard will form a new leadership team at WORKTECH Academy alongside Strategy Director Matthew Myerson, with Academy co-founders Philip Ross and Jeremy Myerson, co-authors of the book Unworking, providing guidance and support.
